Raj leads a team at Constellation that partners with a diverse group of customers, assisting them with implementing an integrated strategy to meet their sustainability goals. The roadmap is built using data analytics, energy efficiency and other products and technologies that are being developed, acquired or introduced through a growing network of partners.
A key product Raj oversees is the Constellation offsite renewables (CORe) product which helped customers meet renewable energy goals with more than 1,100 MW in projects since 2018. Raj is an accomplished professional speaker and seen as an expert in the energy industry having spoken at events such as Smart Energy Decisions Renewable Forum, AEE East, Ohio Energy Management Conference, and Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) sessions and more. In January 2023 Raj was elected to the Board of Directors for the Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA). This organization represents over 400 companies committed to transitioning to clean, renewable energy.
Raj has worked in the chemical and energy industries across a wide variety of roles. He began his career in the chemical industry working with multi-national companies Bayer, Cytec Industries and American Cyanamid. His roles included R&D, marketing, and sales before being promoted to the Director of Marketing for NAFTA where he also managed the Export and Resale sales channels. Responsibilities include managing P&L and developing short- and long-term strategies including US production of chemicals for overseas export. Raj started his energy career with WPS Energy Services (later Integrys) in 2005 as the Managing Director for retail power and gas sales.
The business was acquired by Constellation in 2014. Most recently Raj led the effort to develop a multi-year partnership with the Johnson Controls Hall of Fame Village. That agreement recognizes Constellation as the official energy provider and provided exclusive naming rights for the Constellation Center for Excellence, a key component of a development project under way in Canton, OH.
