Part Six of the Series with the University of Houston’s Energy department and The Energy Coalition at UH continues with Uchenna Ube, a Phd. student in Physics who hails from Nigeria. Ube, who also has his undergrad and masters in Physics, is determined to bring changes back to his native Nigeria and get them on track with the Energy Transition and more important, sustainability, but he wants to sharpen his skills here in the United States first before returning. He also details to Afriaa Nasir and I the role his dad has played in fueling his educational and professional pursuits, what changes he would make to Nigeria in terms of sustainable reform and why participating in this series was so important to him. It’s a fantastic story from a fantastic person determined to make a positive impact on two sides of the globe.
