The wait is finally over.
After weeks of planning and sifting through applications, the eight-part podcast series produced by The Green Insider and The University of Houston’s Energy Group is finally ready to kick things off with an introductory podcast featuring two folks instrumental in the series’ creation, Chief Energy Officer Ramanan Krishnamoorti and UH Student and Vice Chair of the Energy Coalition at UH – Afriaa Nasir. Both discuss their roles in making this happen, the uniqueness of the event and why UH was the perfect setting for a podcast competition on The Energy Transition. The series, which kicks off on March 29th – will feature two students each week for four weeks discussing their energy stories, goals and what they hope to accomplish in their professional careers in the energy field. Afriaa will also announce the eight students participating in the series and there will be a live event the last week of April on the UH campus recognizing the students for their participation and stories. Prizes will be awarded to the top three podcasts. It’s an exciting series and one that hopes to catch attention both on and off campus to what today’s young minds are thinking and planning when it comes to the energy transition.
